Here's a piece on breath analysis testing for hyperglycemia.  It seems that a correlation exists between exhaled methyl nitrate gas and blood sugar, and is discernable without poking holes in the skin.  Is it another step toward accurate, non-invasive glucose testing?

I read a little about this the other day. Interesting.... It's amazing some of the things they're looking into these days. At least we know they're researching, right?

Next thing you know, we'll be inhaling a bolus through the nose, and exhaling a test by mouth. Managing diabetes will be, literally, a breath of fresh air.
